Martin Hosking - Non Executive Chairman

Martin Hosking is a private investor with active interests in a number of technology companies.

He was a senior executive at LookSmart, heading product development up to and after the company's successful NASDAQ listing. Martin is Chairman of Aconex, the world's largest provider of online collaboration for construction and engineering projects, and of redbubble®, an online community for creative interests. Martin joined the Southern Innovation Board of Directors as Chairman in 2005.

Previously Martin was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, mainly assisting Australian companies with growth options. He started his career with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, serving as a diplomat in Egypt and Syria

David Scoullar - Managing Director

David joined the Southern Innovation Board of Directors in 2005 as a Non-executive Director, in this capacity he has had overall responsibility for corporate and shareholder affairs as well as major contract negotiations since Southern Innovation's inception. In February 2008 David joined the Southern Innovation executive team as Managing Director.

Prior to joining Southern Innovation in a full-time capacity David was a Partner in the KordaMentha Group, an Australian accounting practice, where he was in charge of the Group's boutique Mergers and Acquisitions practice 333 Capital. He previously worked with Arthur Andersen in their audit and corporate finance practices in Melbourne and London.

David's commercial experience spans contract negotiations, initial public offerings, venture capital, company and asset valuations as well as company sales and acquisitions. David is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.

Paul Scoullar - Technical Director

Paul Scoullar is an entrepreneur and inventor. Paul founded Southern Innovation in 2004 to commercialise technology developed during his PhD research at the University of Melbourne. Paul has been involved with all aspects of the launch and development of Southern Innovation and Southern Innovation's SITORO® technology.

As founder, Technical Director and inventor Paul is responsible for all aspects of R&D at Southern Innovation.

Prior to founding Southern Innovation, Paul was a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Melbourne where he established a number of effective partnerships between industry and academia. Paul has a Bachelor Engineering (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
